Corporate Values

aLocal's foundation and mission is the cornerstone of its corporate values

OUR FOUNDATION

We developed aLocal to create a data framework to ensure that our work is truly transformational to data analytics. Our equity foundation for data analytics is focused on the following pillars:

  • Accessible -aLocal will ensure that you can access data analytics easily and virtually
  • Available-Analytics in seconds-You will not have to wait 3 months for an outside consultant to complete
  • Affordable – Data analytics will not cost $50,000 for a market study. We are approximately half the cost of our competitors and use an affordable pricing model. Users even have a limited freemium option!
  • Accurate Representation-We ensure the analytics represent the local economic conditions and region….why would a neighborhood use a county measurement!

This is more than a company-it is a mission, a calling….a movement!

OUR MISSION

#DataEquity, #DataSovereignity, #GoodData, #DataDiplomacy are pillars of our movement to truly change society by providing an equitable approach to information and analytics. As a Native-owned company, we understand the importance of equity and sovereignty and the importance of treating data with respect. Better analytics means better decisions for people, business, and communities!

#DataEquity

aLocal began as an effort to ensure the entire community had equity when using analytics and that there was parity on the quality of analytics between all stakeholders of the community. Our founders are folks who worked in local government and found gigantic disparities with who provides analytical outcomes and how they impact decisions of local leaders. The mission is to ensure equity!

#DataSovereignity

Data Sovereignty is also required in order to use data specific to the community. Communities can change values based on local knowledge of the community. This will provide analytical outcomes specific to the current and future needs of the community. Additionally, data is represented differently based on geography. No longer will economic analytics only represent the county level. We prioritize what data is important to whom.

#GoodData

Good Data represents analytics with measurements that matter. Many times, outsider consultants will use all data (including the kitchen sink) to intimidate and inflate their overall results. We analyze; not summarize and avoid stacking data (adding numbers together). We focus on the data points truly impacting the economy and their value…..we use statistically significant algorithms and focus on

#DataDiplomacy

Using your data for good….for yourself is the focus! Data Sovereignty is not so you can collect your own analytics and provide someone else your data. You should leverage your own analytics so that there is parity with economic information. Seeking perfect economic information for everyone provides better economic opportunities! Empower your future!
